Icecream Ebook Reader provides you with a practical and comfortable way to read your e-books in EPUB, PDF, MOBI, FB2, PRC, DJVU, CBZ and CBR formats. The program allows you to create and maintain your own virtual library, while offering you advanced features that turn e-books reading into a exciting and relaxing activity. You can use bookmarks and notes to complement your reading experience.

The program allows you to add any number of e-book files to the virtual library, which can be displayed in bookshelf (more elegant) or in table (more informative) views. You can import and export your entire library, easily search for a specific e-book by title or author, classify your e-books into categories and mark any of them as favorite. Also, this tool includes its own "recycle bin", so that if you need to recover a previously removed e-book you can easily do it from the "Deleted" folder, unless you manually emptied it. Moreover, the program automatically keeps track of your reading progress, so you can know the reading percentage of each e-book in your library at a glance, when in table view.

As for the reading features, the most helpful one is probably the full-screen mode, which allows you to make the most of your screen resolution. Besides, you can enable the night mode at any moment, which is especially designed to allow you to continue reading comfortably even under very poor lighting conditions. Also, you can select a word/phrase of your e-book and highlight it, copy it, or get an automatic search or translation of it using the well-known Google and Wikipedia online services. Furthermore, you can increase or decrease the font size and toggle the view mode between single column and two columns. Not to mention that you can display at any moment the e-book's table of contents or list of bookmarks which, in turn, allow you to jump to a specific page in the blink of an eye.

Finally, it's worth mentioning that the program can be indefinitely used for free, but some features, like the annotations, will only be available after you upgrade to the Pro version. Anyway, I consider that this tool offers an excellent set of useful features for free, so I would really recommend it to any student or bookish person.
