As its name suggests, Icream Ebook Reader is intended to help you read electronic documents. However, it is not just a reader but also a book collection manager, as it can store specific details about your books. The application has a nice and very intuitive graphical user interface, which means that with little training, even children can use it with no difficulties. In addition, if you don´t like the colors and layout of the interface, you can always use one of the available skins.
The application supports reading various ebook formats, such as FB2, EPUB, PDF and MOBI. Moreover, it can easily scan complete folders and import the files with these extensions automatically. Besides, the created database can also be exported, with the limitation that only the application’s exclusive format can be used. Needless to say, you can import a previously exported library to another computer. Unfortunately, the details about the books you can keep in the database are not so many, as only the data corresponding to a title, author and progress can be saved. Sadly, it cannot connect to online databases and download information about your books either.
While you are reading a book, you will enjoy some benefits. For instance, you can read the book in three different modes.
